DescriptionCIVIL ENGINEER - Federal/Public WorksRole Description:Civil Engineer with at least 5 years experience and will be a registered Professional Engineer for our Irvine role will be a Civil Engineer to work on Public Works/Federal Practice Area. This position will provide leadership guide business development and project management on local Southern California (and beyond as needed) engineering projects.Location:IrvineEmployment Type:40 FT HoursCompensation Type:SalaryRegistration(s):Professional EngineerEducation:Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)Duties:Serve as Civil Engineer in the development of design schematics construction plans specifications and estimates.Coordinate with EITs designers and drafters.Review shop drawings perform field observations and facilitate the construction administration.Support project proposals scopes budgets and manage execution and tracking of projects.Complete projects within client specifications budgets and schedules.Coordinate online meetings preparation of meeting agendas and distribution of meeting.Key Responsibilities:Understands follows and enforces the business processProductively collaborates with PMs and encourages teams to achieve success and camaraderie amongst each otherUnderstands and follows QMS and Quality initiatives. Assists PM on ensuring that quality control measures are being adhered to on projects and daily operations.Understands duties and responsibilities possesses necessary job knowledge and technical skills maintains job knowledge current.Assist with appropriate administrative and project support tasks supporting the needs of the PM on assigned project tasks.Contributes to successful delivery and performance of projectsComplete assignments on-time within budget and with highest level of quality.Routinely proposes and produces more effective ways to accomplish tasks.Assists PM as needed on work planning. Prepares and follows comprehensive Project Framework Instructions and proper work planning for a project.
