Introduction The Maryland Commission on Civil Rights (MCCR) is the agency responsible for enforcement of anti-discrimination and civil rights laws for the State of Maryland. MCCR is charged with investigating and administratively processing complaints that allege discrimination in employment housing public accommodations and the States commercial non-discrimination policy.***This recruitment is limited to current employees of the Maryland Civil RightCommission (MCCR)***GRADE 13 LOCATION OF POSITION William Donald Schaefer Tower 6 St. Paul Street Baltimore MD 21202 POSITION DUTIES The main purpose of this position is to implement State Government Title 20 and the Commissions Rules of Procedure through assignments of a variety of Agency functions. The person in this position serves as an Investigator of discrimination complaints; case processing specialist in investigations; intake officer in the main and field offices; and community outreach/public information specialist. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSExperience: Four years of administrative staff work experience.Notes: may substitute the possession of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience.2.
