The candidate must have a bachelors degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and two to five years of similar work experience. Experience with natural gas and other utilities is preferred. The candidate must also be self-motivated work well with others and have excellent writing organizational and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.Typical responsibilities include:Design various natural gas projects including distribution mains transmission pipelines metering & regulating facilities as well as launcher/receiver assemblies.Perform civil site design trenchless installation design utility conflict analysis and traffic control plan design.Prepare design reports and construction plans using client local state or other applicable standards.Coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals.Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities.Document design changes and communications.Conduct on-site observations as needed.Prepare project status and other reports.Assist in the preparation of proposals.Assist Project Managers as needed.Attend client public project and staff meetings including client progress plan review preconstruction etc.Attend seminars and/or training classes.Maintain excellent client relations.Maintain a safe working environment.Education:Bachelors Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering requiredSkills/Experience:2-5 years of experience is required.Experience with natural gas or other utilities preferred.Experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D is preferred.Experience with Engineering based programs (GasCalc Pipeline Toolbox BoreAid and other similiar engineering software) is preferred.About Wade Trim:Wade Trim is committed to maximizing the value of infrastructure investments.
