Claims Adjuster II - Workers' Compensation

Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas 100% (WFH) Remote Opportunity Salary Range: $60,000-$84,000 + Comprehensive Benefits

Are you an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven environment? EMPLOYERS is growing-and we're looking for a motivated Claims Adjuster II to join our team!

This fully remote role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse claims caseload, work independently, collaborate with industry experts, and contribute to a company rooted in integrity, innovation, and customer focus.

What You'll Do

As a Claims Adjuster II, you will manage Workers' Compensation claims with moderate medical and indemnity exposure, including litigation. Your work will include:

  • Conducting initial investigations, verifying coverage, determining compensability, and crafting action plans

  • Setting accurate case reserves using medical knowledge and sound judgment

  • Delivering excellent customer service to internal and external partners

  • Accurately evaluating and paying benefits in compliance with state and company guidelines

  • Coordinating and monitoring medical treatment to drive timely, cost-effective claim progression

  • Collaborating with defense attorneys and proactively mitigating litigation exposure

  • Reviewing your caseload regularly to ensure efficient claim resolution

  • Performing additional related duties as needed

What You Bring

We're looking for candidates with:

  • 2-5 years' experience in Workers' Comp adjusting or insurance

  • 3+ years managing AZ, CO, NV, and/or TX claims at a high, independent level

  • Ability to manage additional jurisdictions

  • Strong customer service, communication, and time management skills

  • Knowledge of state Workers' Compensation laws and claim protocols

  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Certifications (not required):
WCCP, AIC, ARM, CPCU, or similar insurance designations

If your state requires a claims license, you must obtain and maintain it within mandated timelines.
