Claims Administration Clerk📍 Location: Hybrid (Remote + In-Office as Assigned) 🕒 Schedule: Full-Time 💲 Starting Pay: $18.25/hour 🏢 Department: Claim AdministrationAbout the OpportunityAre you highly organized, detail-driven, and comfortable working in both remote and in-office settings? We’re hiring a Claims Administration Clerk to join our fast-paced Claim Administration team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured workflows, enjoys problem-solving, and has recent in-office experience supporting administrative or operational functions.If you’re self-motivated, accurate, and ready to contribute to an essential part of the healthcare claims process, we’d love to meet you.What You’ll DoProcess assigned system edits prior to claim submissionPrint and mail paper medical & behavioral health claimsPrepare supporting documentation (EOBs, medical records, etc.)Perform in-person filing duties when neededPull itemized bills for subpoena requests and respond to payer documentation requestsPrepare and upload trip tickets for transportation claimsUpload documentation packets and complete portal data entryDownload, review, and file payer correspondenceAssist with invoicing and spreadsheet-based claiming tasksMaintain and organize electronic and physical filing systemsUphold strict HIPAA and confidentiality standardsParticipate in department projects and meet productivity/quality metricsComplete additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMust have recent in-office work experience1–2 years of healthcare claims experience (preferred)Ability to manage logins and passwords across multiple payer portalsStrong software proficiency and internet research skillsExperience working in a hybrid or remote setting (preferred)Valid identification and ability to work onsite as scheduledSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organization and time managementClear, professional communication skillsAbility to follow regulatory and procedural guidelinesPositive, team-oriented work ethicStrong problem-solving abilities and sound judgmentAbility to stay focused and proactive in a fast-paced environmentWork Environment & Physical RequirementsFast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesFrequent walking, sitting, standing, and document handlingAbility to lift 10–15 lbs occasionallyVisual acuity required for data entry and reviewing documentationEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
