Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are a flexible and employee centric tutoring center that is looking for people who want to make some money while making a differenceOur Barrington, IL center is growing and is currently hiring part-time Certified Teachers to help students improve their academic skills. We are here to help students who need extra support and students who need a more challenging supplemental curriculum.Responsibilities:Deliver instruction of pre-planned lessons using our curriculum in groups ranging in size from 1 to 4 students. Communicate student progress clearlyProvide administrative leaders with timely communication of any concerns related to student progressEstablishing a developmentally appropriate, positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that is conducive to learning.Advancing positive interpersonal relationships with coworkers and students.Communicating proficiently with students.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in elementary school education.Valid state licensure.Proficient knowledge of teaching strategies and methodsExcellent people skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Outstanding organizational skills.Proficient computer skills.Availability to work extended hours on occasions.Benefits of Huntington:Flexible Hours!Choose your own schedule!No need to prepare curriculum!Excellent work life balance!No parent teacher meetings!This job is ideal for graduate students, and teachers looking to supplement their income.
