Salary/Position Classification$15.00 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)20 hours per week100% Remote Work Availability: NoHybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): NoPurpose of PositionThis is a part-time non-benefitted position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired into this position.UND UIT is looking to hire customer service orientated students to assist our Classrooms and Digital Media Services department. We are very flexible with schedules and welcome applicants of all majors and experience levels. We are very flexible for hours and can work around any schedule.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist Digital Media Engineer with setup and execution/monitoring of Live Stream eventsProvide in-person support to faculty during active class sessionsAssist with updating and maintaining classroom technology throughout campusGeneral organization data entry and clean up as neededOther duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsAs a result of working in this position the staff member will gain the following skills: Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Interpersonal Development ProfessionalismMust be punctual and have good time management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to troubleshoot and think on their feet potentially in front of an active classValid drivers licenseBasic Understanding of Windows Operating systemBasic troubleshooting skillsWillingness to work one on one with facultyMust be able to work on campusAbility to work well in a team or independentlyMust be a student for the Spring 2025 semesterSuccessful completion of a Criminal History Background CheckIn compliance with federal law all persons hired will be required to verify identityand eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Microsoft O365 (Word PowerPoint and Excel)Basic knowledge and understanding of A/V equipmentTo ApplyFor full consideration applications must be received by the closing date and include the following materials: Resume Please include in the application if you are currently or have in the past 12 months been employed with the University of North Dakota the North Dakota University System or any other North Dakota State agency.
