JOB TITLE:Clerical ReceptionistDEPARTMENT:Pension (Las Vegas)REPORTS TO:Tracy ThompsonJOB DUTIES:Provide services for the Claims Contribution Accounting or Pension Department.Responsibilities include:Answering phone calls; greeting identifying and assigning participant/retiree inquiries to appropriate departmental staff.Opening date stamping logging counting and distributing mail within the department on a daily basis.Coordinating appointments with pension processors; performing clerical duties as required (typing filing copying microfilm and microfiche research etc.).Keeping reception area stocked with forms and booklets.Assisting retirees with address changes stop payment orders and direct deposit inquiries.Assist in completion of income forms from various agencies.Assists in processing of Annual Certification Letters.Cuts checks.Document ETK system as required.Must meet the departments quality and production standards for this job as provided on the work standards grid.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Education & ExperienceHS or GED.Minimum of one year experience as a Receptionist in a professional office.Bilingual required.Mental/Visual Concentration or Manual DexterityRequires normal concentration easily learned simple movementsComputer OperationsMust be PC literate.General knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.Typing score of 35 WPM general knowledge of 10-key.Physical Work EnvironmentNormal degree of physical effort in typical office environment with comfortable constant temperatures and absence of objectionable elementsMay be subject to interruptionsMay be required to lift a maximum of 25 lbsMeets established attendance and punctuality guidelinesCOMPETENCIES:Customer FocusUnderstands customer needs both internal and external and looks for opportunities to provide the highest quality serviceQuality FocusLooks for opportunities to provide the highest quality service.Maintains appropriate documentationWorks with other employees/departments to ensure timely and quality serviceAnalysisSome analytical/problem solving skillsSome research skillsMathematical proficiency preferred.PlanningSolid organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-taskCommunicationSolid written verbal and presentation skillsListens actively and communicates effectively with participants co-workers Clients Employers and Vendors.Interpersonal RelationsAssists participants co-workers clients employers and vendors in a friendly courteous and professional manner.Uses courtesy in communication and working with others.Works with other employees/departments to ensure timely and quality servicePatience and rapport with others required.TeamworkWorks well in a team environment with minimal supervisionContributes to team tactics to meet defined goalsSupports a work environment that is conducive to team productivityAccepts team decisions and works toward implementationPositive AttitudeHighly motivatedDemonstrates flexibility and resilience when faced with multiple demands shifting priorities ambiguity and rapid changeIntegrityApproaches all business decisions and actions guided by sound personal and professional beliefsHigh level of credibility and confidentialityEarns trust by dealing honestly and following through on commitmentsSALARY:Grade 2TESTING:Testing RequirementsPre-employment Test for new hires to ZASTyping Test.MS Word Excel and 10-key.BID INSTRUCTIONS:Interested applicants should apply through our new ATS system by COB Monday November 24 2025.
