For more information please visit .Our Rochester MN office is looking for a Client Service Associate is a critical position within our team responsible for driving the team culture of exceptional service as well as delivering exceptional service and support to clients external partners and internal advisors. This individual operates as a liaison to the Financial Advisors and our clients they hold high level to detail and have ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. The role serves as a more-than a individual contributor. This role has opportunity for growth and will likely manage others as well as foster a team of collaborative problem solving.In the spirit of pay transparency we are excited to share the hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 per hour exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job FunctionsNew Client OnboardingEnsures accurate completion of prospect / new client paperwork/set upFollow up on funds transfer from surrendering companyMaintains (CRM) database and client files (Filing copies data input)Research and follow up on any issues with the Broker/Dealer WEG Operations and vendorsRecord incoming assets to the appropriate blotting toolClient Relationship ManagementDialogues with client to understand their personal history and current financial needs.Prepares account transactions trades deposits withdrawals RMDs etc.Communicates to understand client requests determines what needs to be done; communicates to the advisor or handles issue resolution includes death claim processingMay work with clients tax or legal counsel on client concernsClient Review Prep and Follow UpGather client data and may prepare the materials for client meetings and reviewsConducts Tax Research (1099s)Completes any review follow up needs for clientIndustry / Product / Company KnowledgeDemonstrates knowledge and can accurately execute against WEGs Suitability Guidelines operational processes and sales modelUnderstands financial terminology and productsWorking proficiency with annuities mutual funds separately managed accounts fixed income stocks options alternative investments hedge funds charitable giving practicesAttends Client Services and company educational eventsMay attend vendor presentationsTeam and Corporate SupportAssists Advisor Team Operations to streamline processesCompletes operational projects to support enhancements and changesCommunicates process and sales updates to teamMentors and trains CSAsManages vendors to Service Level AgreementsEducation / QualificationsBachelors Degree (or equivalent experience) in business; finance economics or relatedCustomer Service training knowledge or experienceAbility and interest to learn financial concepts and productsAbility to work with deadlines be flexible under pressure and prioritize workAbility to work as a team memberAbility to learn WEGs sales modelAbility to learn WEG/LPL processes and proceduresAbility to learn financial product features and ridersAbility to learn the review process and how the review is completedStrong attention to detailGood problem-solving skillsSuperior verbal and written communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionalityExperience with Workday preferredWEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience qualifications skills and credentials; tenure cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market.
