Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $14-$15/hourlyPOSITION SUMMARY:All Together Recovery LLC (ATR), provides multiple levels of ASAM SUD/BHSO care, including recovery housing, education, job training, employment, and other recovery related extensions to the family in for-profit and non-profit environments. The Client Support Kitchen and Canteen Assistant will function as a role model for all program participants. They must exhibit competency in recovery dynamics and serve as a client advocate for all ATR entities. They will be responsible for preparing all meals, cleanliness and maintaining the kitchen. They will fulfill all canteen responsibilities as it relates to distribution of canteen to clients and tracking the financial aspects of client accounts. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIRMENTS: Must have a valid Kentucky drivers license.Participate in all necessary staff meetings.Be proficient in all ATR rules, policies, and procedures.Model servant leadership.Operate with integrity in all circumstances.Communicate effectively and be responsive to verbal and written correspondences.Knowledge of local resources, the recovery community and service access.If necessary, fill in for team members who are absent to cover APSS billable services.Maintain all pertinent ATR records as per policy and regulations.Maintain all required personal certifications and required trainings.Ability to educate and coach clients in all aspects of client house rules.Assist Client Support/House Management duties as needed.Assist in meal preparation, production, and distribution for client meals.Ensure the kitchen and dining area are compliant with health, food, safety, and environmental standards and protocols.Ensure kitchen equipment is kept in working order.Ensure adequate supplies of food, snacks, drinks are maintained and kept in stock.Responsible for assisting in labeling, purchasing, inventorying, and securing stock, supplies, and equipment.Keep everything in the kitchen clean and in safe, working order.All other tasks as assigned by direct reporting line.BACKGROUND/EDUCATION:Current APSS certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.1 year of previous experience as an APSS (preferred).High school diploma or GED.History of leading a team of three or more members.Kitchen and cooking experience is preferred.Shift differential for weekend shift.
