We pay mileage!SUMMARYA Clinic Supervisor is a highly engaged leader that possess a high level of acuity in business acumen and is focused on developing a patient-focused team that is goal oriented.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESExecute day-to-day operations of the office by ensuring the following is completed:Employee scheduling weekly meetings report generation inventory assessment supply ordering employee training and other duties as assigned or needed within the officeProvide guidance on optical equipment usage proper medical chart handling insurance and billing frame and contact lens selection policies and procedures and computer softwareCompile operational reports to gain a strong insight into the business and how to direct the team on what needs to be done to fix focus areasLead the office by guiding them to success through focused support and coachingEnhance processes and workflow by taking initiative to build action plans to increase the efficiency and profitability of the officeCollaborate with Clinic Manager and HR on employee relations and recruitment needsCollaborate with other Clinic Supervisors and Managers to develop creative approaches to areas of improvementActively engage in constructive conversations with employees to help address improvement areas and formulate follow-up actionsActively train employees on how to provide a world-class patient experienceAct as the liaison between employees and the Clinic Manager and CorporateMotivate employees by remaining positive and communicating any changes or news in a supportive and constructive wayEnsure the office and employees are always compliant with HIPAAOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSAbility to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous professional manner at all timesExhibit fair and compassionate leadershipDesire to gain industry knowledge and trainingDemonstrates initiative in accomplishing practice goalsConsistently creating a positive work environment by being team-oriented and patient-focusedReliable transportation that would allow employee to go to multiple work locations with minimal notice when applicableCommitment to work over 40 hours to meet the needs of the businessAbility to work weekends when applicableEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEMinimum Required: High school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum Required: Two years of management experience in Ophthalmology or related industryLICENSES AND CREDENTIALSCurrent Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification preferredSYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGYProficient in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint OutlookPHYSICALREQUIREMENTSThis role requires a variety ofphysicalactivities to effectively perform essential job functions. The position involves frequent walking (75%) sitting (50%) and standing (50%) with regular bending stooping and reaching (2550%). Employees must be able to lift carry push and pull items up to 25 lbs. Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential as the role demands constant grasping writing/typing and use of technology. Visual and auditory acuityincluding color depth peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focusis required100% of the time.
