This is an opportunity to work with a remarkable multidisciplinary team to support childrens growth and safety provide support to a team of dedicated clinicians and to be supported in your personal and professional growth.Compensation and Benefit Information:$15-17/hour based on experienceEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Build genuine relationships with childrenSupport teammates by providing respite care to children with disabilities during staff breaksMaintain a well-kept clean and organized learning environmentObserve all rules policies and procedures at Woven CareSample Daily Schedule: 9:00am-12:15pm lunch 1:00pm-3:30pmMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):Safety Care certified or willingness to obtainHigh School Diploma or equivalent .18 years of ageClear Background CheckPrevious childcare experience (nanny childcare provider teaching assistant babysitting etc.)Previous special needs childcare preferredSkills:Must be able to play with childrenStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Problem solving abilities.Schedule and Location and Duration:9:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday availabilityPueblo COPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50pounds such as materials data collection tools or therapeutic equipment used during sessions.Must be able to assist clients with physical mobility challenges including helping clients move between areas (e.g. from a chair to a table or from one room to another) if necessary and occasionally providing physical support for activities as outlined in treatment plans.Must be able to sit on the floor or crouch for extended periods during client sessions as well as stand or kneel for activities that involve children or clients with specific behavioral interventions.Must be able to stand walk and/or run for extended periods during client care or while monitoring and interacting with clients.Must be able to maintain physical activity for an entire shift including walking standing and participating in active therapeutic activities.Must be capable of quickly responding to emergency or crisis situations including running carrying or supporting clients during behavioral emergencies (if applicable).Must have clear verbal communication and active listening skills as the role requires frequent interaction with clients families and team members.
