About theunitThis is a 33-bed unit for surgical patients who could be higher acuity/progressive level care known as an acuity adaptable unit. It is created using PFCC principles to care for patients and their families through the continuum of their hospital stay. This unit is the perfect opportunity for seasoned and new graduate nurses as you will have the opportunity to create your own shared governance model within the unit and be instrumental in helping to set the culture! The advanced capabilities and clinical expertise within this center have earned it Magnet designation four consecutive times and has the distinct honor of housing Michigans first Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence.Scope ofworkCoordinates aspects of patient care by managing communication and clerical tasks essential to the functioning of the addition to communication and clerical tasks she/he monitors and stocks supplies.
