Behavioral Health Associates are responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. Join a team with defined career paths and a national family of facilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Include:Demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety and provide excellent customer services.Complete and maintain required documentation. Assist with follow-up and paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place in the facility.Responsible for conducting safety checks and ensuring that supervision is conducted at 15 minute intervals as noted in special precautions or in accordance with individualized supervision guidelines as needed.Interact routinely with patients observe behaviors and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.May oversee or assist patients with activities of daily living including toileting bathing dressing grooming oral hygiene meals snacks hydration and changing bed linens.Facilitate patient educational-rehabilitative groups which cover a variety of topics including social skills coping skills anger management and independent living skills.QUALIFICATIONS:Must be 21 years of age or olderHigh school diploma requiredDetail oriented in both observation and applicationTeam-oriented personality abilities and willingnessSKILLS REQUIRED:Organizational skills - proficientRelational-people skills - excellentTelephone communication skills - excellentComputer - MS (Word & Excel) andexperience with electronic record keeping- proficientFamiliarity with 12-step Recovery preferredRADT certification required (or to be acquired upon hire)All new hires must disclose COVID-19 vaccination status prior to beginning employment and if required provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination series or an accommodation request for review and approval as a condition of employment after accepting an offer from Duffys Napa Valley.All employment offers are contingent on candidates successfully passing with a satisfactory background check and drug screen.Position is located on campus in Calistoga CA.Compensation for roles at Duffys Rehab varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location role skill set and level of experience.âAs required by local law Duffys Rehab provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California set forth below.Role Location: Calistoga CaliforniaCalculated Hourly Range for role:Pay Range: $24 per hour entry levelRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Environmental Safety,Graduate Engineering,Consumer Durables,Export Documentation,Assembling Employment Type : Hourly Experience: years Vacancy: 1
