Learn more about our amazing organization at Position Details:Title: Clinical DietitianLocation: Specialty Clinic - Brownsville, TXClinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pmSchedule: PRN, as needed basis.New graduates are encouraged to apply! Upcoming or recent graduates may interview for our Clinical Dietitian roles prior to completing and passing their Registered Dietitian certification exam.As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional support to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting nutritional assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree or higher in nutrition or related field granted by a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education (USDE) recognized accrediting agency or foreign equivalent, and coursework through an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic (DPD), Coordinated (CP), Graduate Program (GP) or Foreign (FDE) program.Successful completion of Dietetic Internship Program approved by Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). Has Verification Statement and eligible for registration exam.Zero to 6 years’ experience in nutrition care, education, counseling, private practice, community/public health, school system, long-term care or related field with valid NDTR credential or other professional designation.Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish): Ability to speak and write Spanish highly preferred.Preferred: Pediatrics experience.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Bachelor’s degree or higher in nutrition or related field from an ACEND-accredited programRegistered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through CDRTexas state licensure (or within 90 days of hire)Food Safety and BLS certifications (or within 90 days of hire)Valid driver’s license
