The pharmacist will support inpatient clinical and operational pharmacy functions including medication verification dispensing and therapeutic monitoring. Competitive weekly compensation is offered.Key ResponsibilitiesVerify medication orders for accuracy safety and clinical appropriatenessPrepare and dispense medications in accordance with state federal and institutional standardsProvide pharmacotherapy support including therapeutic drug monitoring and dose adjustmentsReview medication regimens for interactions contraindications and optimization opportunitiesParticipate in interdisciplinary communication to support evidence-based medication managementPerform sterile and non-sterile compounding as neededDocument clinical interventions and operational activities in the electronic health recordAssist with medication reconciliation and support transitions of careRespond to medication-related inquiries from healthcare providersSupport inventory management and controlled substance oversightContribute to quality safety and performance improvement initiativesQualificationsActive pharmacist license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain)Recent inpatient or acute care hospital pharmacy experience requiredStrong clinical judgment and familiarity with hospital medication-use processesProficiency with electronic medical record systemsAbility to collaborate effectively in a large healthcare systemUp-to-date resume and professional referencesExperience with sterile compounding preferredWork Environment & ScheduleEight-week contract within a major acute care hospital serving the California region.
