Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager. Overview As a Clinical Supervisor , you’ll play a key role in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care and operations in designated areas. You’ll serve as a clinical resource for both staff and patients, and step into a staff nurse role when needed. You’ll also take on managerial responsibilities as delegated by the department manager. This position reflects our commitment to our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience required. Licensure: Must hold a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, and meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire). Preferred Qualifications: Previous supervisory experience Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Why Mercy?
