Position: Full-Time (40hr/week)- Onsite, some call
Compensation: Wage starting at $65.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Clinical Pharmacist
Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, NE is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services across all hospital services and departments, ensuring optimal patient care and safety. Working closely with the Pharmacy Director, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations, uphold the highest standards of practice, and ensure compliance with Nebraska DHHS Pharmacy Statutes.

Clinical Pharmacist Job Requirements
· Eighteen (18) years of age or older
· Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Hospital Pharmacy Administration or PharmD
· Must meet State requirements for Pharmacist by the Nebraska Board of Pharmacy
· Minimum of one to three years experience in hospital pharmacy preferred, but not required
· Never convicted of any drug-related misdemeanor or felony
· Satisfactory communication skills
· Ability to work under stress and adapt to change
· Must be knowledgeable of state and federal confidentiality laws, including but not limited to HIPAA, follow all policies, procedures and instructions regarding the privacy and security of protected health information applicable to the position.
· Ability to Manage day-to-day pharmacy activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to regulations
· Prior experience collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care
· Able to providing medication counseling, drug therapy management, and patient education
· Ensure proper medication dispensing, monitoring, and safety procedures
· Familiar with formulary management and contributing to cost-effective medication utilization
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date pharmacy records in accordance with regulatory requirements
