Title: Clinical Referral LiaisonDepartment Org: Community Engagement - 109830Employee Classification: J1 - Salaried Full Time HSCBargaining Unit:Professional Staff AssociationPrimary Location: HSC HShift:1Job Description:This position provides community outreach coordination between area physicians hospitals University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) and other referral sources The person in this position will visit area physicians to promote University programs and service lines. They will act as a liaison between physician offices and the University to address any concerns or areas of addition the person in this position will be responsible for distributing marketing materials University educational materials and foster positive relationships with area physicians. This position will also promote service lines to internal staff healthcare providers and physicians to support efforts for internal referrals between service lines. The position will occasionally require night and weekend working hours to support events or work-related job duties.Minimum Qualifications:Qualifications/Knowledge Skills & AbilitiesEducation/experience/licensing:Bachelor s degree in Marketing preferred or degree in related healthcare field required.Two to three (2-3) years of healthcare outreach experience preferred or equivalent healthcare experience required.Consideration given for experience in lieu of education.Valid State Drivers License is required.Communication and other skills:Excellent interpersonal skills and being able to present themselves in a professional manner.Strong organizational time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.Must be competent in Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint.Must be able to maintain confidentiality per HIPPA guidelines.Conditions of Employment:To promote the highest levels of health and well-being the University of Toledo campuses are tobacco-free.
