Employees are further expected to provide a high quality of care service and kindness toward all patients staff physicians volunteers and guests.:Duties and Responsibilities:Review prepare and verify chemotherapy and targeted therapy orders for accuracy safety and compliance.Provide medication counseling to patients and families helping them understand complex treatment regimens side effects and adherence strategies.Collaborate with oncologists nurses and multidisciplinary teams to optimize treatment plans and improve outcomes.Monitor patient responses to therapy adjust recommendations and prevent adverse drug events.Stay current withoncologydrug developments clinical guidelines and emerging therapies.Staff in inpatient pharmacy as neededJOB SPECIFICATIONSA. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Knowledge:Education:Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree.Licensure:Active and unrestrictedpharmacistlicense (Board Certification inOncologyPharmacy BCOP preferred but not required).Experience:Prior experience inoncology hematology or hospital pharmacyBenefits:Paid Sick Time - effective 90 days after employmentPaid Vacation Time - effective 90 days after employmentHealth vision & dental benefits - eligible at 30 days following the 1st of the following monthShort and long-term disability and basic life insurance - after 30 days of employmentRequired Experience:IC Key Skills LTC Pharmacy,Hospital Experience,Pharmacy Software,Continuous Improvement,Go,Infusion Experience,Pharmacy Residency,Training & Development,Order Entry,Epic,Clinical Pharmacy Experience,Compounding Medications Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
