Job DescriptionAs the Clinical Supervisor RN/NP/PA-C you will assist in the daily operations of the occupational health clinic at Bath Iron Works. Operating under the BIW Business Operating System (BOS) the Clinical Supervisor RN/NP/PA-C ensures compliance with safety quality and performance standards while coordinating with other key stakeholders to meet overall milestones.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Leadership:Diagnose treat and medically manage work-related injuries and illnesses for Bath Iron Works employees.Project Execution:Perform routine medical surveillance physical examination and case review for a variety of programs i.e. exposures from asbestos heavy metals various environmental toxins and noise; DOT; Fire Brigade and other programs.Clinical Management:Supervision of the Registered Nurses and Clinical TechniciansProvide day-to-day clinical guidance to RNs and Clinical Technicians. Delegate tasks appropriately based on skill scope of practice and workload.Ensure adequate staffing and coverage; assist with scheduling or shift planning.Monitor patient flow and triage efficiency.Training and Development:Provide real-time feedback and education to clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care is achieved.Provide on-the-job coaching and mentorship for RNs and Techs.Conduct or coordinate training on new procedures equipment or protocols.Team Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with on-site medical nursing and workers compensation personnel management and outside providers concerning work-related injury case management return to work and fitness for duty concerns.Demonstrate a CAN-DO attitude.Continuous Improvement:Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements.Required/Preferred Education/TrainingLicensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required.Combined Specialty certification with clinical supervision experience highly desirable.Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) or masters degree in nursing (MSN) is preferred.Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA-C with clinical supervision experience is preferred.Current State of Maine APN/PA-C license (or compact licensure) with clinical supervision experience is preferred.Required/Preferred ExperienceMinimum 5 years experience as a licensed as a registered professional nurse Nurse Practitioner/PA-C in either family or adult practice required occupational experience preferred.Previous Managerial experiencerequired.High level of interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively lead and manage team.BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred.Occupational health experience is highly desirable.Must be able to maneuver through the Shipyard.Must be able to participate in Sea Trials.1st shift consisting of (5) days per week (Monday-Friday).Required Experience:Manager Key Skills CSS,Cloud Computing,Health Education,Actuary,Building Electrician Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
