Apply now to see what it means to us and what its like to work somewhere your voice is heard your wellness is a priority and your success matters.JOB TITLE: Clinical SupervisorEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time40 hours/wkSCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm with availability to staff from 7am-9pmPROGRAM/LOCATION: ConnecticutKinPC#: 1151ABOUT THE PROGRAM:Connecticut Kinship Navigator Program (CKIN)The Connecticut Kinship Navigator Program (CKIN) is a program intended to prevent the disruption of foster care placements and increase stability and permanency by providing timely in-home interventions with kinship caregivers and the children in their care. CKIN collaboratively identifies the needs of the family children and overall home environment. Through empowering and motivating caregivers providing psychoeducation and skill development caregivers will learn additional information pertaining to foster care the impact of trauma how to manage trauma-related behaviors and moods and be connected to resources.ABOUT THE POSITION: Clinical SupervisorDuties & ResponsibilitiesProvides case consultation direction and leadership within the team.Ensures clients receive services that are focused on presenting problems and clients request for treatment.Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required.Monitors client meetings admission continued stay and discharge criteria.Reviews caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate utilization of services.Oversees hiring training and performance management of staff within the program.Facilitates team meetings.Participates in internal and external meetings as needed by program and agency including delivering marketing training and case consultation services.Ensures client program and agency documentation and reports are completed in a timely manner and according to program agency funder and accreditation/licensing standards.Oversees the completion of chart audits and ensures that all necessary documentation is accurate and up to date.Acts as primary point person for program and provides back up or on call coverage as needed by program and agency.Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles/if applicable.Performs other duties as assigned. Provides clinical direction and leadership to the team fostering a collaborative and effective working environment in collaboration with their supervisor.Ensures the completion of insurance authorizations for services rendered as required.Actively participates in committees focused on service delivery and quality improvement within the agency.Additional duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Masters or higher in mental health related fieldrequired.Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years experience as a clinician. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives.
