Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population. QualificationsREQUIRED:Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty ORBachelors degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate licenseMust hold Certified in American Heart Associations Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.PREFERRED:Additional Life Support credential (ACLS PALS NRP etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
