University of Colorado Anschutz Medical CampusDepartment:Medicine- General Internal MedicineJob Title:Clinician Educator- Internal Medicine (Open Rank)Position: # Requisition: #38435Job Summary:The Division of General Internal Medicine Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks a clinician-educator interested in a career as a clinician practicing and teaching general internal medicine in a patient-centered medical home.The physician will provide care for patients at a University of Colorado Health Internal Medicine Clinic or CU Internal Medicine Clinic with opportunities for precepting residents and students. Faculty share responsibilities for night week-end and vacation coverage with other members of the group practice and will participate in decisions regarding the practice operation.The clinician-educator will have opportunity for academic promotion judged on criteria of demonstrated excellence as a clinician/educator/scholar.
