Job Description
Commercial Loan Closing Specialist
We are seeking a detail-driven Commercial Loan Closing Specialist to manage the end-to-end closing, acquisition, and servicing transition of commercial loan portfolios. This role plays a critical part in ensuring loan documentation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless onboarding while serving as a key liaison between clients, counterparties, and internal teams.
Compensation: $80,000-$100,000

What You'll Do Loan Closings & Portfolio Transitions
• Oversee the full closing lifecycle for commercial and construction loans, including acquisitions and portfolio transfers
• Coordinate documentation, funding requirements, and post-closing deliverables to ensure smooth transitions
Documentation & Compliance
• Prepare, review, and track loan documents, assignments, and collateral records
• Research and manage state and county recording requirements; submit filings and monitor confirmations
• Support acquisition due diligence by identifying documentation gaps and resolving deficiencies
Servicing Onboarding & Monitoring
• Ensure accurate and timely boarding of loans into servicing systems
• Establish tracking for insurance, taxes, UCCs, covenants, and other ongoing compliance requirements
• Build and maintain complete, audit-ready credit and servicing files
Stakeholder Communication
• Serve as a primary point of contact for borrowers, sellers, and internal partners during closing and onboarding
• Communicate clearly and professionally throughout the closing and transfer process
• Provide ongoing support to loan administration and servicing teams as needed
What We're Looking For • 5+ years of experience in commercial loan closings, servicing, lending operations, or title/escrow
• Strong working knowledge of commercial loan documentation and collateral perfection
• Proven ability to prepare, review, and record legal and financial documents accurately
• Experience coordinating multi-party transactions and managing detailed workflows
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); servicing system experience preferred (Nortridge a plus)
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication skills with comfort interacting across all levels
