Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a strong, reliable Closing Manager with proven management or shift-lead experience. This person will be responsible for leading the night crew, keeping the store clean and recovered, and fully securing the building each night.Responsibilities:Supervise night team and delegate tasksHold team accountable for completing closing dutiesRecover store: front-face shelves, clean aisles, return all go-backsEnsure all departments (coolers, freezers, produce, front end) are properly closedComplete nightly cleaning and safety standardsCount tills, manage keys, and follow all closing proceduresLock the building and set alarmsCommunicate issues to owners/managementRequired Experience:1+ year in a management, shift-lead, keyholder, or team-lead roleExperience directing others and giving instructionStrong communication and problem-solving skillsProven reliability and consistent attendanceAbility to handle fast-paced, physical workComfortable holding staff accountableMust be able to work evenings and weekendsPreferred Skills:Prior grocery, retail, or food-service leadershipExperience with closing proceduresAbility to train new team membersStrong attention to detail and store standardsBy applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
