Closings Coordinator at CAMS - Community Association Management Services
JOB DESCRIPTION
CAMS is on the search for a full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm Closings Coordinator. This position is mainly in-house with some remote capability.
The Closing Coordinator assists in ensuring that ownership transfers are recorded and executed in properly and a timely manner, ownership records are up to date and all resale disclosure requests, information, and data are processed timely. The ability to work with others (account managers, customer service, accounts receivable and attorneys) is essential.
Job Duties
- Enter new owner information & settle accounts for seller (in Vantaca)
- Link and Merge homeowner accounts in Vantaca.
- Respond to homeowner inquiries related to closing questions.
- Import of newly annexed properties.
Additional tasks as assigned, including (not limited to):
- Process closing requests received by attorneys, homeowners, and real estate professionals, Process Real Estate questionnaires and realtor forms timely (in Community Archives).
- Code checks related to closings.
- Maintain accurate homeowner, builder, & boat slip records, and ensure accounts have the appropriate billing and applicable information.
- Uploading Transfers to Vantaca & ensuring proper documents have been returned by closing attorney.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal
- Ability to meet deadlines and production quotas
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task under pressure
- Basic accounting knowledge required for entering transactions on owner ledger
- Skilled computer-user and ability to learn new software
- Software used by CAMS: Vantaca, Community Archives, Microsoft Office, Zoom
Benefits and Pay Rate
The pay rate for this position is $18/hourly and based on experience and qualifications.
