Cloud Architect Location - San Francisco CA 5 days Onsite Must Have Skills Github Skill 1 Architect experience Skill 2 Github migration or source code migration project experience Skill 3 Terraform Skill 4 Minimum 6 Yrs of Exp - Devops Skill 5 - Cloud Experience (Azure/ AWS / GCP) Must have Certifications Github advanced security administration (Preferred) or any Github active certification along with CKA or either certification of Devops (from Azure AWS or GCP) As a Architect you will lead the design and execution of scalable DevOps frameworks focusing on GitHub Enterprise migration infrastructure automation using Terraform and cloud-native transformation across AWS Azure or GCP. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize CI/CD pipelines enforce security standards and ensure seamless migration from legacy systems like Perforce or SVN to GitHub. Key Responsibilities GitHub Migration: o Plan and execute repository branch and history migration from Perforce/SVN to GitHub. o Configure GitHub repositories with branch protection access control and GitHub Actions. o Implement Git Large File Storage (LFS) and use tools like git-p4 for incremental migration. o Troubleshoot migration issues including file size limits Python compatibility and network permissions. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): o Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible. o Manage state files and environment-specific configurations using workspaces and modules. Cloud Architecture: o Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS Azure or GCP. o Design secure and scalable network configurations including VPCs VNets NSGs and hybrid connectivity. CI/CD & Automation: o Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Jenkins Azure DevOps or CircleCI. o Integrate YAML templates and automate deployment workflows and containerized applications. Security & Compliance: o Implement zero-trust security frameworks and compliance-as-code practices. o Use tools like Azure Key Vault for sensitive information management. Collaboration & Mentorship: o Work closely with development QA and operations teams. o Mentor junior engineers on GitHub best practices and DevOps principles. Required Skills 5 years in DevOps roles; 2 3 years in GitHub migration projects. Proficiency in GitHub Enterprise GitHub Actions Terraform Python/Shell scripting. Experience cloud security cloud services. Strong understanding of CI/CD containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and cloud platforms. Experience with version control systems (Git Perforce SVN). Familiarity with GitHub Advanced Security and administration. Preferred Certifications GitHub Certifications (any).
