Project Scope: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to deploy support and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS within Kubernetes (EKS) environments for the Vault application. The role involves supporting critical data systems collaborating with engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions and leading incident response and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: Design deploy and manage cloud infrastructure solutions within AWS (preferred) or Azure. Develop support and maintain Kubernetes/EKS clusters and containerized applications. Troubleshoot scale and optimize distributed systems to ensure reliability and performance. Implement automation and orchestration to streamline cloud operations. Design implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins GitHub or similar tools. Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform. Configure and monitor cloud resources using Prometheus Grafana Dynatrace Splunk Datadog and similar tools. Collaborate with networking teams to support service-to-service communication and optimize system architecture. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process and operational improvements. Required Skills: Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS (preferred) and Azure. Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure automation and orchestration. Kubernetes & Containerization: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS. Experience with container scaling orchestration and distributed system troubleshooting. Networking: Solid understanding of modern networking concepts and service-to-service communication. Automation & Scripting: Strong automation mindset. Proficient in Python Go Bash and Groovy. Infrastructure as Code & Monitoring: Skilled in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus Grafana Dynatrace Splunk Datadog Cloud Formula). CI/CD Pipelines: Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar platforms. Problem Solving & Mentorship: Strong troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems. Ability to take ownership mentor peers and drive technical solutions independently.
