Job: Senior Cloud Network Engineer Location: 5605 Six Forks Rd. Raleigh NC 27609 (Hybrid) Duration: 1 year with possible extension Briefly explain your cloud networking experience including AWS/Azure. NC FAST requires a Senior Enterprise Network Engineer to provide networking and firewall rule support for application connectivity in Hybrid environment. The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a highly technical contract resource for NC FAST (Families Accessing Services through Technology). This position will serve as an Network Engineer to support applications hosted in the cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-Prem. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues related to networking and security. Create firewall rules for environments. Assist the Operations and cloud team as requested. Maintain and keep track of all technical duties related to cloud networking such as design implementation and support. Manage monitor troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues: utilization/throughput slowness and unexpected latency. Requirements: Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto VM Series firewall and Panorama configuration and optimization Required 5 Years Experience with routers routing protocols transit gateways load balancing and overall cloud networking including VPCs subnets routes security Required 3 Years Experience with security best practices and implementing security controls in a AWS cloud environment Required 5 Years Experience with VPN technologies to include IPsec and SSL technologies Required 5 Years Ability to work on large TCP/IP networks design implementation and troubleshooting Required 3 Years Experience with name services and resolution associated IP assignments Required Knowledge of core network services (including DNS DHCP and IPAM technologies) Required Possess strong problem-solving skills including the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud networking infrastructure issues Required Self-motivated with strong team-oriented and collaborative attitude Required Strong knowledge and understanding of cloud infrastructure components: compute storage network management and monitoring (network and security) Highly desired Knowledge of WAF as a Service (AWS Azure GCP) Highly desired Key Skills EIGRP,Load Balancing,Routing Protocols,Network Engineering,BGP,LAN,Computer Networking,IPsec,OSPF,Cisco ASA,Juniper,MPLS Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
