This role is ideal for someone who is tired of working on the same project or with the exact same technology for months or years without the possibility of future growth.We are looking for a Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Architectwith expertise in the following specialty areas:NVIDIA GPU expertise AI and High-Performance Computing performance and tuningInfrastructure as Code Terraform AnsibleOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) command line APIs and software development background to support customer proof of conceptsThose who excel in this role aremotivatedself-starterswho love to solve challenging problems feel comfortable workingdirectly with customers and have aninsatiablecuriosityabout what is possible with cloud technology. The primary focus of a Solutions Engineer is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners prospects customers and internally to our sales force.This is a hybrid role based in the Reston VA/ Greater Washington DC area. The position typically requires working onsite at our office or client locations 34 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely 12 days per week depending on business needs.ResponsibilitiesIs this the position for youResponsibilities:Understanding identifying and documenting client requirements conduct business and technical studies design develop integrate and implement information systems businesssolutions and provide advice on information systems strategy policy management security and service delivery.Providing pre-sales technical and functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.Acts as a technical resource mentor and leader for less experienced Solution Engineers.Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations demonstrations and proof of concept implementations.Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits product future direction and overall Oracle solutions.Design validate and present Oracle cloud architecture solutions to include advanced product concepts future direction and 3rd party complimentary products.Support sales team in online and in-person selling efforts with minimal supervision.What you will bring ( Requirements)Knowledge and experience with any of public cloud providers including Oracle Amazon Web Services (AWS) Azure or Google (GCP) architecture tools and cloud methodologiesSolution Architect and/or Developer Certification on Oracle Cloud AWS Azure or Google CloudCloud computing10 years relevant computer applications or database/tools experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience with government accreditations for Cloud such as FedRAMP Impact Level and ICD 503Additional:Ability to travel as needed;approximately 25% of the time.BS degree or equivalent.Cloud Certifications are highly desirable.Oracle product experience highly desirable.Job duties are varied and complex needing independent judgment.May have a project lead role.Must have an Active or ability to obtain and maintain Secret or TS/SCI clearance - US CitizenCome Join Us!#LI-PA4QualificationsDisclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $141800 to $232200 per annum.
