Clow Valve has an opening for a 1st shift Iron Grinding Utility-Starting Rate of Pay: $25.96; Qualified Rate of Pay: $26.86Health Insurance Available after 60 daysThe responsibilities of the successful candidate will include but are not limited to the following: General Clean up of areaLock out and tag of equipment if necessaryRemoval of excess metal from part by using proper grinding toolsInspecting finished castings for quality Qualifications : The qualifications of the successful candidate will include but are not limited to the following:Frequent lifting/carrying of up to 10 lbs some lifting of up to 50 lbs.Frequent lifting greater than 40 times per hour.Bending/ twisting/ and standing for greater than 8 hours.Ability to read and write and understand training and instruction.Ability to work in extreme heat.Must be able to utilize and work around moving machinery.Must be able to utilize proper PPE including: respirator metatarsal guarded boots eye protection hearing protection apron gloves and sleeves.Additional Information : All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
