Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CMA-Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Santa Fe Health & Rehabilitation Center. As a CMA-Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, under the supervision of a licensed nursing professional Monitor resident's responses to medications and report any adverse reactions to the nursing staff Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Provide basic care and assistance with ADLs, including feeding, toileting, and transferring patients Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident care Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide emotional support and promote a positive atmosphere among residents and staff
Requirements: CMA certification High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
