This position directly supports production accuracy, AS9100 quality systems, and customer satisfaction.

The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
• Inspect machined components and assemblies for dimensional accuracy
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records
• Identify and report non-conformances
• Work closely with machinists and production to resolve quality issues
• Support AS9100 quality system requirements

You'll be working in a high-capability CNC job shop that machines both large and small complex components.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years experience as a CMM Inspector in a CNC machining environment
• Proficiency operating and programming CMM equipment
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• High attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Experience inspecting large machined components
• Experience in a high-mix job shop environment
• Familiarity with AS9100 documentation
