Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCMM Operator - Miramar Location Primary ObjectiveConduct mechanical and visual inspections of machined parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies based on customer blueprints and specifications. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform first article, in-process, and final inspections.Verify materials, processes, and certifications from sub-tier vendors.Complete all paperwork per AS9100 standards.Calibrate inspection tools and enforce quality system procedures (ISO, military, and customer specs).Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of tools and stock.Assist in training other inspectors.May require hazardous material handling training. (monster.com)QualificationsExperience:Minimum 4–8 years in mechanical inspection (varies by listing).Must work to tight tolerances in a high-volume environment.Skills:Proficient in CMM programming (Mitutoyo Geomeasure 6000 and/or PC-DMIS 4.2 or later).Ability to interpret complex blueprints and perform advanced job shop math.Familiar with GD&T (ANSI Y14.5), Cartesian coordinate systems.Knowledge of AS9100 documentation requirements.Physical:Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
