Key Responsibilities Develop validate and optimize CMM inspection programs from CAD models and engineering drawings. Operate CMM equipment to perform precise dimensional inspections of manufactured parts. Analyze measurement data interpret results and identify non-conformances or deviations. Generate accurate and comprehensive inspection reports detailing measurement findings. Collaborate with engineering quality and production teams to define measurement strategies and resolve issues. Perform routine calibration checks and basic maintenance on CMM equipment. Troubleshoot CMM program errors and optimize existing programs for efficiency and accuracy. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g. PC-DMIS Calypso). Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5. Ability to accurately interpret complex engineering blueprints and specifications. Demonstrated experience with CMM setup operation and troubleshooting. Solid understanding of metrology principles and measurement best practices.
