Key Responsibilities Develop and validate CMM inspection programs using CAD models and engineering drawings. Interpret complex engineering blueprints GD&T and specifications to create measurement routines. Perform first article inspections (FAI) in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts. Troubleshoot and debug existing CMM programs and measurement processes. Generate detailed inspection reports and analyze measurement data. Collaborate with engineering quality and production teams to ensure measurement accuracy and efficiency. Optimize CMM programs for efficiency repeatability and accuracy. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g. PC-DMIS Calypso MCOSMOS). In-depth knowledge and practical application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings blueprints and 3D CAD models. Experience with various CMM hardware platforms and measurement techniques. Strong understanding of metrology principles and quality inspection processes. Excellent troubleshooting skills for CMM programs and measurement discrepancies.
