Key Responsibilities Develop write and debug CMM inspection programs using CAD models and engineering drawings. Interpret complex engineering blueprints GD&T specifications and CAD data to define measurement strategies. Execute CMM programs to perform precise dimensional inspections of manufactured components. Analyze and report measurement data identifying non-formance and supporting root cause analysis. Validate CMM programs and measurement results for accuracy and repeatability. Perform routine calibration and maintenance of CMM equipment to ensure operational readiness. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize inspection processes and resolve quality issues. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g. PC-DMIS Calypso MCOSMOS). Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 standards. Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints CAD models and specifications. Hands-on experience with CMM setup operation and fixture design. Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot CMM programs and optimize inspection processes.
