Key Responsibilities Develop write and debug CMM inspection programs from CAD models and engineering drawings. Validate and prove-out CMM programs to ensure accuracy and repeatability of measurements. Analyze measurement data and generate comprehensive inspection reports for quality assurance. Troubleshoot CMM program errors and optimize existing programs for efficiency and throughput. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to define measurement strategies and requirements. Select appropriate probes fixtures and setup methodologies for various part inspections. Maintain and update CMM program libraries and associated documentation. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g. PC-DMIS Calypso MCOSMOS). Expert ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T. Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques. Experience with CAD software for model import and analysis. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control standards. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software for fixture design or model manipulation. Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis. Familiarity with other advanced metrology equipment (e.g. vision systems laser scanners). Ability to develop and deliver training on CMM operation programming or GD&T principles.
