Key Responsibilities Develop debug and optimize CMM inspection programs from CAD models and engineering drawings. Interpret complex engineering drawings GD&T specifications and quality requirements. Select appropriate probes fixtures and measurement strategies for various part geometries. Conduct first-article inspections correlation studies and validate CMM programs for accuracy. Generate comprehensive inspection reports analyze measurement data and identify non-conformances. Troubleshoot and resolve CMM program issues measurement discrepancies and equipment errors. Collaborate with engineering quality and manufacturing teams to ensure measurement needs are met. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g. PC-DMIS Calypso MCOSMOS). Strong understanding and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and 3D CAD models. Proven experience in developing validating and optimizing CMM inspection programs. Knowledge of various measurement techniques and metrology best practices.
