We offer a residential setting with 10 beds private suites and the feel of a beautiful Northern Michigan lodge.Here at Dixie our focus is quality care; we keep low staffing ratios so our clients get the care they need and deserve.Our clients have access to intensive therapy services educational programs adaptive sports community outings and more!ResponsibilitiesAssists nurses by performing various basic care activities related to services essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of patientDresses grooms bathes feeds takes and records vital signs of patientsAnswers call lights assists in toileting oral care nail care catheter care assists patients in wheel chairs transports turns bedridden patients reports patient changes and takes out trashRequires certification as a Nurse Assistant; functions may not exceed Standards of Practice as accorded by certificationProvides simple or uncomplicated patient careCleans room and changes bed linenTakes and records temperature pulse and respiration rateGives medication as directed by Physician or Nurse and makes notation of amount and time givenOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum age requirements is 18 yearsValid drivers license with satisfactory driving record as defined by agency policyCertification if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which the aide is to provide careCompletion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aideMust be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit stand and walk for periods of time and bend stoop push pull and reachAbout our Line of BusinessRehab Without Walls an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
