For well over a century our commitment to serve our community inspires our staff to provide the highest quality of care to all who we have the privilege to serve.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesWe are offering up to a $1500 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.Check-in with the outgoing CNA at the beginning of your shift to get a report on your patients.Conduct hourly rounds on patients checking vitals maintaining whiteboard information and assisting with care as needed.Assist patients with ambulation as necessary. This may mean helping them reach a recliner in their room walk to the bathroom or down the hall. Assist released patients in getting safely to their vehicles outside.Assist patients with hygiene needs. This can include a full bed bath an assisted bed bath or retrieving towels and soap for ambulatory patients.Help the bedside nurse with tube insertions such as an NG tube rectal tube or catheter. You may be holding a cup of water holding the patient or providing the nurse with supplies as needed and cleaning up after.Help the bedside nurse with any wound checks or dressing changes. This may mean holding the patient or supplies and cleaning up after.Change bed linens check patients weight and other tasks as assigned each day.Job RequirementsMust be at least 16 years of ageSuccessful Completion of the 75-hour state-approved Nursing Assistant courseActive Nurse Aide (CNA) license in good standing in NebraskaBasic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association Key Skills Multi-line Phone Systems,Customer Service,Computer Skills,QuickBooks,Medical office experience,Office Experience,10 Key Calculator,Dental Office Experience,Front Desk,Administrative Experience,Medical Receptionist,Phone Etiquette Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
