Job Description

The primary function of this role is to provide Personal Care Assistance - or Certified Nursing Assistance services to the individual in their home. These tasks include: Assisting with household chores ( cleaning changing linens trash disposal)Assisting with bathing and hygieneAssisting with toiletingAssisting with transfers walking exercise or ambulation when neededAssisting with activities of daily living( personal grooming and dressing)Assisting with grocery shoppingMeal and snack preparationsAssistance with reminders and monitoring medicationAssist with scheduling appointmentsAssist with transporting to appointmentsOvernight supportQualifications :  High School Diploma or GEDFirst Aid and CPR certificationCNA/ PCT certification requiredMust be very familiar with or previously trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)Must be very familiar and efficient with working with individuals with behaviors.Bilingual preferred but not requiredMust have at least three(3) years of  RECENT experience in a health-related field nursing homes day program services home health care private duty care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
