CNC Lathe Machinist

We are looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist who can confidently handle full setups, run production, and maintain tight tolerances on precision-turned parts. If you can take a blueprint, materials, and tools and independently produce quality parts on a CNC lathe, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate, and break down CNC lathes for production runs
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine parameters to maintain accuracy
• Troubleshoot lathe issues and perform routine maintenance
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of CNC lathe machining experience
• Strong understanding of CNC lathe setup and machining principles
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience with G-code and lathe-specific programming adjustments
• Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control standards
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Technical certificate or machining degree preferred but not required

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits
