JOB DESCRIPTION
CNC Machine Operator
$19-$25/hr
We are seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce high-quality components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment
This position is located in a machine shop where it can be noisy, and you may get dirty from oils and machine operations. We have both 1st and 2nd shift available: The first shift operates from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, while the second shift runs Monday to Thursday, 5 PM to 5 AM, with initial training on the first shift for 1-2 months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
