Job DescriptionCNC Machine OperatorThe Trident Company has an immediate opening for a CNC Machine Operator in the Tulsa, OK facility. The CNC Machine Operator performs advanced production activities requiring a demonstrated high level of skill and proficiency in material handling, production processes and multiple machine operation acquired through extended experience and training.Summary:Performs advanced production activities requiring a demonstrated high level of skill and proficiency in material handling, production processes and multiple machine operation acquired through extended experience and training.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPositions work pieces for processing.Operates a combination of different machines to process work by cutting, burning, sawing, blasting, shearing, punching, grinding, bending or pressing.Uses gauges, calipers, squares or rulers for measurement.Determines processing specifications such as materials, cutting tools, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances and operational sequences by reviewing blueprints, work orders, tooling instructions or other written specifications.Installs and aligns specified punches, cutting blades or other fixtures in machine bed using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, or hand tools.Adjusts controls to set cutting speed, depth and feed rates; and diagnoses problems and makes necessary adjustments.Performs quality control inspections on finished product; for ISO-certified locations, performs In Process Quality InspectionsCoordinates and executes material handling of all inventories to be processed including operation of overhead crane.Performs limited preventative maintenance, such as lubrication, cleaning and changing of parts.May train less experienced workers and perform as lead in absence of group leader.May mark identification on material/work pieces before processingMay mark material after processing; store material for additional processing and/or shippingRestocks material.Completes work order paperwork/documentation.Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.The Trident Company offers a competitive starting salary and benefits plus upward mobility professional growth.The Trident Company provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees w/o regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status or disability.High school diploma or equivalentReading and writing ability in English (to read instructions on tickets and cross-reference drawings, safety and policies manuals)Basic measuring skills to read and convert English and Metric systemsBasic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractionsMinimum two (2) years experience as a machine operatorExperience operating overhead crane preferred
