CNC Machine Operator at Regal Rexnord

CNC Machine OperatorSchedule: Monday Thursday 5:00 am 3:30 pm Fridays offSalary Range: $25/hr.Responsibilities Program set up and operate numerically controlled machines.Mount install align and secure tools attachments fixtures and workpieces on machines using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.Remove finished workpieces change tooling setup or workpiece placement according to required machining sequences. Finished workpieces may be lifted manually or with hoists and cranes.Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments templates and fixtures.Diagnose machine-related issues during operation.Process proper machining methods.Read and modify programs by making necessary edits and/or offsets for CNC machines.Report variations in program sequences positioning cycle time etc.Adjust the machine offsets to control part dimensions.Inspect in-process pieces to ensure parts are to specifications or blueprints.Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with Regal Rexnord policies 6S procedures and RegalRexnord core values.RequirementsEffectively communicate and work in a team environment.Working knowledge and utilization of MS Office (Excel Word Outlook) preferred.Qualifications HS Diploma or GED requiredAbility to document information as required.Basic math skills.Ability to use a computer with clear instructions and procedures.Physical Demand and Work Environment:Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.Work environment includes occasional exposure to noise levels at or above 85 decibels dust particles and oil products.
