G&M Code experience is required. Mechanical smarts - you know your way around tools and gauges Sharp eye for detail to keep quality tight Strength and stamina - lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on your feet Team player who shows up, works safely, and gets it doneDay-to-Day Responsibilities Operate all CNC equipment, including mills and lathes Set up and operate equipment per job requirements using the following: blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, and locations of surfaces. Configures CNC by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, and programs. Changes tool inserts as required to maintain part specifications and monitor tool usage and wear. Must have a good working knowledge of M&G codes Ability to enter work orders into the maintenance system. Loads the machine with work pieces and verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces. Maintains specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Accomplishes organization goals by offering improvement opportunities.
