Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision components, is seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Setup Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Setup Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Setup Operator

Location: Hamilton, OH

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Shift: Fri/Sat/Sun 6am-6pm

What's the Job?

• Review job orders and technical drawings to determine setup requirements for CNC machines.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials according to specifications.
• Load CNC programs and verify accuracy before initiating production runs.
• Perform precise machine adjustments, including offsets and tool changes, to maintain tight tolerances.
• Conduct first-piece inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.

What's Needed?

• 15 years of experience in CNC machine setup and operation.
• Proficiency in setting up CNC machines, including tooling, offsets, and program loading.
• Strong understanding of CNC prints and ability to maintain tolerances to.000.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and comprehend setup sheets, technical drawings, and CNC programs.
