Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery including lathes mills or grinders according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and work orders to determine machining operations. Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers gauges) to ensure part quality. Monitor machine operations detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance. Change and adjust tooling as required to maintain accuracy and production efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine or program errors to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to all safety procedures. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and G-code/M-code programs. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers bore gauges) for quality inspection. Ability to perform tool changes offsets and basic machine maintenance. Strong understanding of machining principles cutting tools and various material properties.
